Biography
The one piece of data that is repeated in several sources is that Irish-born Liam Cunningham was an electrician in the mid 1980s when he saw an advertisement for acting lessons. Encouraged by his wife (thank-you Colette!), he decided to give it a try. A month after leaving his "day job," he won the lead in a new Irish play and followed that with a US tour in another Irish play. Other information we've pieced together from a collection of sources is as follows:
